In order to explore the opportunity of opening a Master’s program in Cultural Studies, representatives from the Faculty of Cultural Sciences at Universitas Mulawarman, Samarinda, visited the Media Cultural Studies program at UGM on Tuesday (6/6/2023). During the visit, Dr. Budiawan, the head of doctoral program, and Dr. Ratna Noviani, the head of the Master’s program in Media Cultural Studies, discussed and shared information about various topics, such as the offered courses, as well as student activities and agendas. Through this benchmarking study, it is hoped that it will strengthen the partnership between Universitas Mulawarman and Universitas Gadjah Mada.
