The Media and Cultural Studies Program (KBM), Graduate School, UGM, will host a Dissemination of Research Findings event featuring Dr. Premalatha Karupiah, a lecturer from the School of Social Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia, with her research titled “Analyzing the Meaning of Sexual Violence in Contemporary Tamil Movies,” and Dr. Silvakumar Iyyamar, a researcher from India, who will present his study “History to Herstory in Tamil Cinema.” This research dissemination event will be moderated by Dr. Suzie Handajani, M.A. (KBM lecturer) and conducted online via Zoom at the link bit.ly/ZoomGenderOnTamilMovies on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at 1:30 PM WIB.
