The Head of the KBM Master’s Program, Ratna Noviani, S.I.P., M.Si., PhD, opened the event.

This event served not only as a platform for student presentations but also as a monitoring tool for supervisors. Supervisors in this forum provide direct guidance and monitor the development of literature, methodology, and field findings compiled by their advisees.

In this edition of the Pre-Thesis Seminar, the KBM Master’s Program involved alumni as reviewers. The involvement of alumni is intended to provide fresh perspectives and practical input based on their experiences during their studies and careers in the field of cultural and media studies.

The Head of the Program expressed hope that this activity would serve as a catalyst for students to immediately complete their final manuscripts. With constructive feedback from reviewers and guidance from supervisors, students are expected to have a clearer and more structured roadmap.

With the conclusion of this seminar series, students are now entering the manuscript finalization stage, aiming for their thesis defense in the near future.
