On Monday (11/9), a public lecture was held with Dr. Camilo Soler Caicedo from King’s College London, entitled “Anthropology Applied to Media and Cultural Studies” at the Auditorium, 5th floor of the Graduates School Building, UGM. During this public lecture event, Dr. Camilo Caicedo explained the correlation between the concept of myths, storytelling, and the evolving media, which is a manifestation of myths.
In addition to providing the material, Dr. Camilo demonstrated his expertise in salsa dancing with Dr. Dian Arymami, the moderator during the session. To refresh everyone before the Q&A session, Dr. Camilo also invited all the attendees to move a little with basic Salsa dance steps.
