Dr. Camilo Caicedo (King’s College London) delivered a workshop on “Future Building Through Art-Based Decolonial Approaches” on Tuesday (12/9). This workshop was held in the Meeting Room on the 5th floor of the Graduate School Building at UGM. Dr. Caicedo presented a project he had previously undertaken to gather respondent data through the concept of decolonization, using art as a medium, such as drawings. In addition, he also encouraged the attendees to practice it. During the session, Dr. Caicedo invited the participants to dance in pairs using a rope while following the secret instructions provided to boost their engagement. The workshop participants appeared enthusiastic as they engaged in the activities.
